Terms of Use
Effective September 30, 2026
These terms cover your use of Notelings ("the Service"), run by New Classical Design ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them. If a child is using Notelings, a parent or guardian should read and agree to these terms for them.
The free games
Much of Notelings is free to use with no account. Your progress is saved in your own browser, so clearing your browser data or switching devices can remove it. We do not back up free-play progress.
Premium
Premium is a one-time payment of $9.99 (US dollars) that unlocks the Premium features of Notelings for the person who bought it, on the devices that person uses, for as long as we offer Notelings. It is not a subscription and does not renew. It is for personal, non-commercial use and cannot be resold or shared publicly.
We may improve, rearrange, or add to Notelings over time. We will not remove the core Premium features you paid for without offering a fair remedy, such as a refund. We cannot promise the Service will be available at every moment.
To use Premium on another device, use "Restore your purchase" with the email address you used at checkout.
Buying and refunds
Payments are processed by PayPal. You are responsible for any fees your own bank or PayPal account charges. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. When a purchase is refunded or reversed, Premium turns off for that purchase.
Buyers under 18
If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying Premium. Only adults should complete a purchase.
What you may not do
- Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service, its artwork, or its code.
- Try to get around the Premium check, break or overload the Service, or probe it for weaknesses.
- Use the Service in a way that is unlawful or harms others.
Our content and other people's names
The Notelings name, artwork, characters, and software belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms.
The interval cheatsheet mentions song, show, and brand names that belong to their owners. They appear only to help people recognize musical intervals. Notelings is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
Your content
Anything you create in Notelings, such as a display name or avatar photo, stays on your device. We do not receive it. If you share an image or message from Notelings to another service, that is your choice and is governed by that service's rules.
No warranty
Notelings is offered "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make it accurate and helpful, but we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will teach any particular result.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will update the date above and say so on the site. We may suspend access for serious misuse. You can stop using Notelings at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
